Tara Moran is a recent graduate of Boston University's College of Communication where she received her degree in public relations. She is now living in New York and is eager to start her career in the nonprofit sector.

After volunteering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for over a decade, she became a social media intern in their New York headquarters. This experience only solidified her desire to work in a cause-based organization.

While in Boston, Tara served on the executive boards for the Love Your Melon Campus Crew and student run radio station, WTBU, on which she managed three weekly radio shows. She also worked as a Resident Assistant in BU's South Campus, and in several offices around campus. In the spring of 2020, she entered the agency world as a PR intern at BIGfish Communications.

Graduating a year early in a pandemic was certainly not part of Tara's plan, but the challenges 2020 has brought has only made her more excited to help people through her work.
